About Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU)
Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) was established on July 23rd, 1987 in Kota, Rajasthan state of Inia. The Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University was initially known as Kota Open University.
The university was recognized by the Universtiy Grant Commission and Distance Education Council.The university offers 78 courses across 10 streams as arts, IT, Banking or Commerce, Law, Humanities, Medical Physical Education, Hospitality and across 10-degree courses such as Diploma, B.Sc and more.
Additional campus facilities are available like Acas, Zone, ATM, Canteen, Guesthouse and more.
The formation of VMOU took place by the combination of two correspondence courses as Institute of Correspondence studies also Continuing Education Jaipur and Udaipur with the aim to provide educational opportunities.

Admission Process for Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University
The university offers a number of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, a doctoral level also certificate level under different specializations giving a variety of options to the student applying for the university.
The admissions are based on the merit of the students in their previous qualifying examination. Candidates applying for B.Ed, M.B.A also Ph.D. courses are required to sit for an entrance test conducted by the university at different study centers.
Eligibility
- Candidates should have completed minimum 50% marks in graduate from the recognized university
- The students who have done in B.Tech with 55% marks in the respective courses.

- a new application form will appear also download the form.
- Fill all the required details carefully as name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, email address as well as more details
- Put on photo also a signature of your application
- Also attach the supportive documents as 10th mark sheet, Pan card, category certificate to an application form
- Go to the nearest branch then submit the application form along with supportive documents.
- After successful submission then you will get the acknowledgment receipt for the future purpose

- select the ‘Result Exam June 2017’ option at a top right side of the page
- You will get the ‘Programs in Education’ page then select the suitable course
- Enter hall ticket number then click on ‘Submit’ button
- Now, you will get the ‘Exam Result 2017’ within the short duration.
- Then take a print out of your scorecard for future purpose
