About Tezpur University
Tezpur University is a central university was established in the year 1994 under an act of parliament which is located in the Sonitpur District of Assam.
Tezpur University offers various courses also programs leading to officially recognized the higher education degrees, master degrees, a doctorate in several areas of study.

Admission Process
Most of the admission programs are held through entrance examinations conducted by the Tezpur University in different centers across the country. The selected candidates are required to be present at the time of admission. The candidates will have to produce all relevant documents in original for verification.
Eligibility
- Candidates those who wanted to take the admission in Under Graduate Courses must have passed 12th standard with 50% graduate marks from the reputed institute or Board
- Candidates those who wanted to take the admission in Post Graduate Courses must have passed Bachelor degree in relevant stream with 50% to 55% graduate marks are obtained from the reputed institute or Board
Application Fee
- For OC / BC / BCM / MBC – Rs. 700/-
- For SC / SCA / ST – Rs. 350/-
Steps to get admission in Tezpur University through online:
Registration Process
- Visit the official website http://www.tezu.ernet.in/ of Tezpur University
- Click on ‘Admission-> Admission 2017-18’ option at the homepage
- You will get the admission notice page, then click on website link as shown in below image
- Click on ‘Apply Online’ option at left side of the page
- If you are new user then click on ‘Make Registration’ option
- A new ‘Registration Form’ will appear, fill all the mandatory fields marked with the red asterisks then click on ‘Register’ button
- A preview of the personal details will be shown on the screen
- If the details are correct then click on ‘Confirm’ button or if you want to make any changes in data click on ‘change’ and make necessary changes. Remember once after submission, you cannot change your data in Application Form.
- On successful registration details, the confirmation message will be shown on the screen.
- You will receive an email id to your registered email id also validation code to your registered mobile number
Login Process
- Now login process, click on ‘Activation your Account’ option
- Enter Username and Activation code then click on the ‘Submit’ button
- Then you will redirect to an Application Form page, fill all the required information properly in the Form
- Upload the scanned photograph also the signature in the specified format.
- Finally pay the Application Form fee through net banking, credit and debit card
- Then take a print out of their filled Application Form for future reference
