About Sikkim Manipal University
Sikkim Manipal University was built in 1995. The university provides graduate and postgraduate degree courses in Management and IT Sector which is located in Gangtok, Sikkim, India.
The Sikkim Manipal University is acknowledged by the University Grants Commission also was approved by the government of India.
The main aim of this university is providing the imparting excellent distance educational opportunities and healthcare services in the state of Sikkim also with the collaboration of private and public sectors.
Currently, the university consists of above 700 authorized centers with over 4 lakhs students in 205 districts and above 300 towns also cities across the country.
The university awarded the ‘Best University in Online and Distance Learning’ by ASSOCHAM in India and also 100% placements assistance offers to students with multiple placement drives conducted pan India.

Admission Process for Sikkim Manipal University
Candidates can appeal to apply for their willing courses. The university offers various courses at Under Graduate, Post Graduate also PG Diploma is eligible. Then candidates have to go through the entrance examination for getting admission in their suitable course.
Eligibility for Sikkim Manipal University
- Candidates those who wanted to take the admission in Under Graduate Courses must have passed 12th standard with 50% graduate marks from the reputed institute or Board
- Candidates those who wanted to take the admission in Post Graduate Courses must have passed Bachelor degree in relevant stream with 50% to 55% graduate marks are obtained from the reputed institute or Board
Entrance Examination Fee
- For BCA or MCA or MBA – Rs. 750/-
- For B.Tech or M.Tech – Rs. 1000/-
- For MBA – Rs. 2000/-
- For rest courses – No application fee
How to apply for admission in Sikkim Manipal University
Registration Process
- Visit the official website smu.edu.in of Sikkim Manipal University
- Then Click on ‘Apply Now’ option at the right side of the page.
- If you are new applicant then click on ‘Buy online application form’
- You will get the new ‘Registration Form’. Fill all the personal information correctly then click on ‘Register’
- After application form successfully submission then you can get the Application no, Scratch Card no / Password.
Login Process
- Now the login process, Click on ‘Sign in’ button as shown in below image.
- You will get the ‘Admission Application’ then Enter Application no, Scratch Card no / Password.
- Then Click on ‘Sign In’ button
- You will get the application form, then fill all the required information properly in the application form
- Upload the scanned photo and signature (.jpg format only with maximum file size 200KB, 200 PX) with the application form also submit it
- Then pay the application fee as mentioned above.
- After application form successfully submission. Take a print out the filled form for the future purpose.
