About Gujarat University
Gujarat University Ahmedabad was established in 1949 also located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat in India. Sardar Patel, Mahatma Gandhi, Vasudev Mavalankar, Kasturbhai etc also many leaders recommended for the formation of University in 1920. And this university was established very soon after independence.
Gujarat university was formed under the act of Government of Gujarat as affiliating also teaching university. This was established under the recommendation of committee handed by the Ganesh Vasudev also for rearrangement of education in Bombay state.
At present 10 universities are established to decrease the jurisdiction of Gujarat University. This university has contained the 200 seminars/workshop/training/conference/symposium etc with the center as well as state agencies.
How to get Admission in Gujarat University through online:
Application process: Candidates can fill the form through online on the Gujarat University official website (http://www.gujaratuniversity.ac.in/web/custom/admissions) and also pay the application fee through the online mode only.
For some courses like PGDSA, M tech, BSc Nursing and PGDNA applicants can fill the form in only offline mode also pay the fee through the offline mode. For the offline mode students, they can download the forms from the official website.
Candidates who are applying for entrance exam they get admit card as well as download. They are the two types of admit cards one for the entrance exam and then other for counseling. Candidates should compulsorily bring they’re admit cards together with for the entrance exam
Admission
Gujarat University admissions are done for the majority of courses also merit-based through the student marks scored in the qualifying exam. In admission process, students should clear the exam and then attend the counseling session which they are allotted seats in the respective courses.
Gujarat University provides the admissions for students in different programs offered by the PG, UG also Ph.D. levels.
