About Aligarh Muslim University
Aligarh Muslim University is the residential academic institute which was organized by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan in the year 1875. The Aligarh Muslim University is especially for Muslims to gain education and become involved in the public life and government services in India.
It consists of three off-campus centers at Malappuram (Kerala), Kishanganj (Bihar) and Murshidabad (West Bengal). In 1885, the college affiliated with the University of Calcutta as well as subsequently University of Allahabad.
The university offers technology, Medicine, Management and Studies, Law, Life Science, Unani Medicine, Arts and Agricultural Sciences and several courses undergraduate, postgraduate.

Admission Process for Aligarh Muslim University
Candidates are invited for admission to the courses undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma. The admission test will be conducted by the university at all India level and not by the NEET. Those candidates who are registered for the following admission and complete all eligibility criteria
Eligibility
- For undergraduate – candidates must be completed their 10th class and intermediate from the recognized board in India.
- For postgraduate – candidates must complete their graduation from recognized university in India
How to get admissions in Aligarh Muslim University through online
- Visit the official website https://www.amu.ac.in/ of Aligarh Muslim University
- Click on ‘Admission and Exams’ option
- Then click on ‘Admission’ option on the homepage
- click on General Admission -> Application Forms – Test Courses
- You will get the ‘Registration for Courses’ select your suitable course
- If you choose ‘MBBS / BDS’ course then click on it
- Now, you will get Sign in Page, as your new user, so select the option Register (for a new user)
- The Registration Form will appear screen.
- Fill all the details properly and then Click on ‘Register’ option
- After successful completion of registration process, username and password will generate
Login Process
- click on ‘Sign In’ button
- Enter your Username, Password and Captcha code then click on ‘Sign In’ button
- Then you will get the application form, and fill the form carefully
- Upload the scanned photo and signature (.jpg format) along with the application form also submit it
- Then pay the application fee.
- After successful submission of Application Form. Take a print out the filled Form for the further use
